WHO IS ANDREW BEAR
Mr. Andrew Bear is a highly respected Registered Social Worker, psychotherapist, mental-health therapist, trauma-recovery specialist, grief-and-loss specialist, crisis-intervention specialist, ordained minister, and professional facilitator. He is the founder of Indigenous Wholistic Healing Services and the creator of “Healing Through Music.”
A proud Métis man with Cree ancestry, Andrew brings together more than 23 years of professional experience, Indigenous cultural teachings, Christian faith, music, education, and powerful lived experience. His life story is one of extraordinary transformation. Having survived childhood abuse, abandonment, addiction, street life, incarceration, grief, and tremendous personal loss, Andrew does not speak about healing from theory alone, he speaks as someone who has travelled the difficult road from brokenness to restoration.
