Andrew Bear embodies the resilience of the human spirit. As a Wholistic Healer with the Indigenous Wholistic Healing Services, Andrew’s past is a testament to the transformative power of healing. Growing up in a tumultuous environment marked by abuse and neglect, Andrew’s early years were fraught with challenges that led him down a path of self-destruction. In a quest for attention and an escape from his inner turmoil, he spiraled into a lifestyle of substance abuse.
Andrew witnessed the devastating effects of rejection and hate, as many sought solace in drugs and alcohol. But within this shared pain, there was also a shared desire for redemption and strength.
Today, Andrew stands as a beacon of hope, having channeled his experiences into a force for good. His commitment to the journey of healing—not just for himself but for countless others across Canada—is unwavering. As a graduate in Indian Social Work, he is not just a witness to change; he is a FACILITATOR of it.
